Threads Premiers at Theatre in the Park |

 THREADS, a new Rooftop Promotions theatre play will premiere in Harare’s Theatre in the Park on 3 December and run until 11 December.
Threads writer- Makomborero Theresa Muchemwa Annamore Ziweya Rooftop Promotions theatre coordinator said there would be two shows each day. She said: “We will have a lunch time show (13hrs) and another in the evening (5.30pm).”
Ziweya said it was with the spirit of the festive season that they decided to have two shows. She added: “This play will close an all important season for Theatre in the Park this year.” |

We would like to inform all music lovers and supporters of the Zimbabwe Music Awards that we are no longer going to hold the event in 2008. After extensive consultations with the Executive arm of ZIMA, the event managers, Rooftop promotions and the National Arts Council, we would like to inform you that ZIMA will hold the awards in 2009. we will still hold the awards ceremony in Bulawayo.

Rooftpo Promotions is currently performing the acclaimed play "Super Patriots and Morons" (18th September at national Theatre, Stage: Malersalen) in Norway. The one off show is clear testinony that the play is timeless. It will be preceeded by a talk and presentation by Daves Guzha about the play and Rooftop's work and related issues. Performance is at 7pm. This is the first Zimbabwean play to be invited on the National Stage. |
