He has touched on everything from love to family relationships, African culture, politics, development, and more recently national healing and reconciliation and the constitution making process in a writing career spanning over 30 years. |

Playwright Chifunyise Sets out to Heal Zimbabwe Through theatre |

Author Stephen Chifunyise has given himself to the service of Zimbabwe through a production called Heal the Wounds that he is currently promoting.
In an interview Wednesday Chifunyise said, “The play is a debate on the best way to heal the wounds. As a playwright, the research I have carried out has been fairly extensive, getting the views of people on what they think needs national healing.”
For many people Heal the Wounds is a milestone in the arts’ celebration of National Healing efforts by both the state and church groups who think Zimbabwe can get past its season of mistrust. |

Rooftop Promotions/Theatre in the Park's Heal the Wounds is a bold and refreshing statement on national healing.
Heal the Wounds is Rooftop Promotions 2009 official production. It has its world premiere on the 1st September and will run till 27th September:- 2 shows per day (5:30pm and 7:30pm NO shows on Mondays) at the perennial Theatre In The Park in Harare, Zimbabwe. It is produced and directed by the internationally-acclaimed Daves Guzha.

The Zimbabwean TV production Waiters is set to be watched by millions of viewers across Southern Africa after South African company Multichoice recently bought the screening rights to it. We trace the production back to Theatre in the Park in Harare where Waiters, produced by Daves Guzha and written by Stephen Chifunyise made its debut. |
